Sports & Community Marketing Manager

About the role

Arc'teryx is seeking a strategic and culturally connected Sports & Community Marketing Manager to deepen brand credibility and consumer connection across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will lead the development of sport‑focused and community‑driven initiatives that reflect the brand’s mountain heritage.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual ANZ Sport Marketing & Community strategy aligned with regional business priorities and global brand objectives.
• Set annual objectives, KPIs, and measurement frameworks to track brand awareness, consideration, advocacy and commercial impact.
• Identify and activate opportunities to strengthen brand relevance through sport, athletes, ambassadors, partnerships and community programs.
• Recruit, manage and nurture relationships with athletes, cultural leaders and ambassadors.
• Build long‑term partnerships that generate compelling storytelling and measurable brand outcomes.
• Design and launch community engagement initiatives that create meaningful connections to the brand.
• Collaborate with Brand Communications, Creative and Social teams to maximise the impact of all initiatives.
• Generate earned media, content creation and consumer engagement through authentic experiences.

Required profile

• Proven experience building premium, culturally relevant brands through sport marketing, partnerships and community engagement.
• Track record of delivering strategic programs with measurable brand outcomes.
• Strong network across outdoor, mountain, sport, cultural and creative industries.
• Exceptional storytelling instincts and ability to leverage athletes and experiences for consumer connection.
• Experience leading agencies and external partners.
• Deep appreciation for mountain culture and alignment with Arc'teryx values.
• Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, PR or a related field.
