Speech Pathologist Team Leader

About the role

The Speech Pathologist Team Leader will guide a multidisciplinary clinical team to deliver high‑quality therapy services across a variety of settings, including clinics, hospitals, aged‑care facilities, schools, homes and telehealth.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quality supervision sessions with clinicians and support them to meet utilisation targets.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and continuous improvement of the staff induction program.
• Maintain a positive team culture, manage performance reviews and ensure documentation quality.
• Oversee workplace health and safety issues, space allocation and resource management.
• Capture client feedback to drive service improvements.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience leading clinicians in skill development.
• Extensive clinical experience delivering speech pathology therapy in multiple settings.
• Enthusiasm for multidisciplinary teamwork and a valid driver’s licence with own vehicle.

Required skills

• Degree‑qualified Speech Pathologist.
• Current certified practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
