About the role
Better Rehab is seeking a passionate Speech Pathologist to provide assessments and therapeutic interventions for clients ranging from infants to seniors with neurological disorders and disabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and design therapy plans for participants aged 0‑65+ with conditions such as autism, post‑stroke, Parkinson’s and dysphagia.
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions in community settings and clinic spaces, collaborating with multidisciplinary team members.
- Use a range of AAC devices to support language, social communication and swallowing needs.
- Document progress, report to NDIS and advocate for participants and their families.
Required profile
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology with at least 1 year post‑qualification experience (3 years for senior roles).
- Registration with Speech Pathology Australia, valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
- Ability to obtain Police Check and Working with Children Check.
- Strong interpersonal skills, adaptable and motivated to work in a high‑growth environment.
