Specialist ERP Architect – SAP

About the role

The Digital Innovation team is looking for a Specialist ERP Architect to join a Monday‑Friday roster at our West Perth office. Reporting to the Manager SAP, you will provide expert SAP ERP architecture leadership, evaluate business problems, and bring the right AI capability to each opportunity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead ERP solution design, selection and quality oversight across the SAP landscape, ensuring alignment with business outcomes and technology roadmaps.
• Evaluate when SAP is the right fit and recommend alternatives such as best‑of‑breed platforms, integrations, in‑house builds or third‑party AI.
• Partner with Architecture, AI, Data, Integration and business teams to deliver scalable, well‑governed ERP solutions.
• Provide architectural guidance to project teams throughout design, build, testing, change enablement and continuous improvement.
• Identify high‑value AI and intelligent automation opportunities across finance, supply, maintenance, procurement and HR processes.
• Design and govern ERP data flows, master and transactional data, and analytical views across SAP and downstream platforms.
• Enable business users to access ERP data via Fiori, Joule, embedded analytics, Power BI and other self‑service tools.
• Engage stakeholders, vendors and delivery partners to define requirements, resolve issues and ensure adoption of ERP standards and AI capabilities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in the design, operation and solutions architecture of SAP S/4 HANA ERP for large‑scale organisations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related discipline.

• SAP Fiori and Joule
• AI integration (SAP‑native, third‑party or in‑house)
• Data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and Databricks
• Enterprise architecture and integration concepts
