Specialised Carer – Home Care (Casual)

About the role

Join HammondCare as a Home Care Worker providing essential, practical care for older people in the Illawarra region. You will support clients to live independently in their own homes while building meaningful relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day personal care and companionship to older clients.
• Travel to clients’ homes using your own car and record mileage (paid $0.99 per km plus travel time).
• Adapt to changing client needs and maintain accurate care records.

Required profile

• People‑person with patience and a solutions‑focused attitude.
• Previous experience in aged or community care or a desire to start a career in aged care.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to an insured, reliable car (minimum third‑party property insurance).
• Ideally hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (training available if not).
