Tradewind Australia, a multi-award-winning education recruitment agency, is offering a Special Development Casual Relief Teacher position in Cranbourne, Melbourne. The rate is AU$430 - AU$480 per day plus superannuation depending on experience. The role suits teachers who want flexibility, variety or a pathway to something more permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that keep learning on track while the regular teacher is absent.
• Create a safe, positive and structured classroom environment.
• Adapt quickly to different classrooms and student needs.
• Supervise students in playgrounds or other school areas as required.
• Work within Special Development Schools.

Required profile

• A recognised teaching qualification and current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
• Two professional referees from the past five years (mentor teachers accepted).
• A flexible and proactive approach to new school settings.
• Willingness to work within Special Development Schools.
