Sourcing Specialist - Indirect Categories

About the role

Troocoo is recruiting on behalf of a large, well-established organisation that provides essential services and support to people and communities across Queensland. It is looking for an experienced Sourcing Specialist to join its established procurement team and deliver end-to-end sourcing projects across a diverse portfolio of indirect categories.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing projects across a range of indirect categories
• Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and develop sourcing strategies
• Prepare procurement plans, tender documents and requests for proposal
• Manage tender processes, including market engagement, supplier evaluation and commercial analysis
• Lead supplier negotiations and prepare recommendations for contract award
• Manage multiple sourcing projects while maintaining quality, accuracy and deadlines

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of experience independently managing end-to-end strategic sourcing and formal tender processes
• Experience managing complex, end-to-end sourcing projects across indirect categories
• Experience developing tender documentation, evaluating supplier responses and preparing sourcing recommendations
• Currently based in Brisbane, Australia (applications from elsewhere are not accepted)
