Sonographer

About the role

Apex Radiology, part of Integral Diagnostics (IDX Group), is seeking Sonographers for its O'Connor-based site, a key provider of medical imaging in the O'Connor region. The group offers a range of imaging services including CT, MRI, X-Ray, Ultrasound, BMD, interventional radiology and Nuclear Medicine.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general to advanced ultrasound scanning in MSK, vascular, abdominal, gynaecology and obstetrics
• Deliver patient care so patients have the best possible experience
• Produce high-quality ultrasound images that give optimum diagnostic results

Required profile

• Graduate Diploma or Master of Medical Sonography accredited by ASARC
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Commitment to professional development and ongoing learning
• Good interpersonal skills, showing care, compassion and empathy to patients
• Work rights for Australia or a valid visa

Required skills

• Clinical, practical and interpretive skills to obtain high-quality ultrasound images
• Ultrasound imaging across MSK, vascular, abdominal, gynaecology and obstetrics
