Booking Centre Agent

About the role

Apex Radiology, a diagnostic imaging provider in Western Australia offering CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound, interventional radiology and nuclear medicine, is looking for a full-time Booking Centre Agent in O'Connor. You will be the first point of contact for patients and referrers, playing an essential role in creating a smooth and supportive patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls with warmth and professionalism
• Schedule appointments efficiently, ensuring optimal use of booking slots
• Provide patients with clear information on scan preparation, costs and concession eligibility
• Process patient referrals and coordinate with internal clinical teams
• Work closely with radiologists, technicians and admin colleagues to deliver excellent service
• Maintain accuracy in patient data entry and handle confidential information carefully

Required profile

• A strong patient-first approach with excellent customer service skills
• Confident communicator who is calm, compassionate and solutions-focused
• High attention to detail, especially in administrative and data entry tasks
• Experience in a medical or allied health administration setting (radiology experience highly regarded)
• Ability to thrive independently and in a team

Required skills

• Comfortable using multiple digital platforms and booking systems
• Data entry and appointment scheduling
