Sonographer – Geelong

About the role

Lake Imaging, a medical imaging provider with more than 20 years of service and over 19 clinics across central and western Victoria, is seeking experienced Sonographers to join its team in Geelong. The role is offered as full-time or part-time with flexible work options.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of scans: general, MSK, vascular, obstetrics, gynaecological and breast imaging.
• Work in both hospital and private clinic settings, including the state-of-the-art Geelong Breast Clinic.
• Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and room readiness.
• Take part in weekend and on-call rotations (6:00 pm to 8:00 am).

Required profile

• Graduate Diploma or Master's in Medical Ultrasound.
• ASAR-accredited and registered.
• 2+ years of post-grad experience preferred.
• Confident in a variety of scan types (general, MSK, breast, vascular, obstetrics/gynaecology).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with Canon and GE ultrasound machines is a bonus.
