Sommelier - Multisite, Sydney CBD

About the role

Applejack is growing its Sommelier team and is looking for someone to work with the Group Sommelier and suppliers across several Applejack venues in the Sydney CBD. The role reports to the Senior Sommelier and works closely with the restaurant teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with stock replenishment at all levels
• Provide wine recommendations and advice to guests
• Support customer service and assist with working a section
• Take part in training and upskilling the team

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Sommelier or wine-focused role within premium hospitality
• WSET Level 2 Award in Wines, with a passion for sharing knowledge
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations and excellent food and beverage knowledge
• Natural ability to deliver memorable guest experiences through confident, engaging wine service
• Positive, collaborative attitude and flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
