Software Engineer – Product Sizing & Packaging

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic full‑stack Software Engineer to join the Product Sizing and Packaging (PSP) team. You will help design and deliver cloud infrastructure recommendations that meet Splunk Enterprise Cloud customers’ workload requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Improve modern, interactive UIs using React for internal and external Splunk applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and features that add new value for customers.
• Build backend services that translate subscription details into accurate cloud infrastructure recommendations and automated deployment inputs.
• Simplify complex tasks into manageable steps for the team.
• Refine tools and processes to boost team productivity and efficiency.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and an on‑call rotation for critical incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience (or Master’s with 4+ years).
• Proven proficiency in both frontend and backend development.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining microservices‑based applications.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multi‑functional teams.
