Software Engineer – Platform Integration Services

About the role

The Software Engineer – Trading Platform Integration Services will design, build and operate integration capabilities that connect ASX Trade with internal platforms, regulatory systems, customer channels and enterprise data ecosystems. You will deliver modern API, event‑streaming and data integration patterns to enable secure, reusable and scalable access to trading platform data and services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and support software services exposing trading platform functionality through modern APIs and integration interfaces.
• Build reusable libraries, services and frameworks that accelerate platform integration.
• Implement API‑first integration capabilities and establish reusable integration patterns across the trading ecosystem.
• Develop event‑driven services supporting market and operational data using streaming and messaging architectures.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and automated testing.
• Monitor and support production services, investigate incidents and participate in root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience designing and developing enterprise‑grade software systems, APIs and distributed services.
• Strong understanding of service‑oriented and event‑driven architectures.
• Knowledge of secure software development principles and modern development practices.
