Software Engineer (.NET)

As a Software Engineer you will design, develop and test applications that support its core platform and digital capabilities, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions. The role suits someone who wants to build technical capability within a high-performing engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality software solutions
• Analyse and resolve technical and application issues
• Contribute to system design and development planning
• Deliver work to agreed timelines and quality standards
• Develop and maintain technical documentation
• Take part in Agile ceremonies and team collaboration
• Support secure and reliable software development practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement and technology initiatives

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Software Engineer
• Strong experience with Microsoft .NET (C#) and web technologies (ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, JavaScript)
• Experience with relational databases, particularly SQL Server
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and source control tools such as Git
• Experience with automated testing and Agile delivery environments
• Understanding of software design principles and distributed systems
• Nice to have: Vue.js, Docker or cloud services (e.g. GCP), and exposure to NoSQL databases
