About the role

Enovis is seeking a talented Software Engineer II to join its Enabling Technologies team in Brisbane. The role focuses on surgical automation and visualization, developing cutting‑edge software that supports orthopedic navigation, machine interfaces, and augmented reality applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain C# and Unity applications for surgical navigation and visualization.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, clinical research, product management, and quality teams to define software requirements.
• Integrate and optimise optical navigation technologies for real‑time tracking and visualisation.
• Support the creation of augmented‑reality and immersive tools to enhance surgical planning and execution.
• Interface with cameras, tracking systems, and other hardware components to enable full system functionality.
• Participate in verification and validation activities to ensure compliance with medical‑device standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues to maintain reliability and performance.
• Document architecture, design specifications, and testing procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
