Software Engineer I – Cloud Development

About the role

Bentley Systems is looking for a Software Engineer I to join its Brisbane product development squad. You will contribute to the Bentley Infrastructure Cloud, building both front‑end web features and back‑end micro‑services that support a global community of designers, constructors, and operators.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain new and existing features for the Infrastructure Cloud (frontend and backend).
• Write clear, maintainable, testable, efficient and secure code using C#, React, Typescript and related technologies.
• Participate in code reviews and, when appropriate, lead review sessions.
• Collaborate with product owners and teammates to ensure solutions meet user needs.
• Support and maintain existing services, estimate effort and report progress.

Required profile

• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience with object‑oriented programming and web‑based client/server architectures.
• Understanding of secure web application development.
