Software Engineer – Growth Team (Sydney)

About the role
Workyard is building a workforce management platform for the construction industry. As a Software Engineer on the Growth team, you will help new customers experience the product’s value quickly by designing, building, and validating fast‑moving experiments.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Growth team to design, run, and analyse rapid experiments.
- Convert experiment concepts into minimum viable technical tests.
- Identify the shortest technical path to validate ideas and ship MVPs.
- Implement tests with analytics tracking built‑in.
- Prioritise experiment rollout based on effort estimates and impact.
Required profile
- 3‑5 years of full‑stack web development experience.
- Background in a startup or scale‑up environment.
- Experience working autonomously in a pod that ships independently.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to focus on essentials.
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Full working rights in Australia (no sponsorship).
