About the role
A fully remote, full-time Social Media Manager is sought to build and maintain a strong online presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok. You will work closely with remote site supervisors to turn photos, videos and project updates into polished posts about operations, teams, equipment and safety culture. After training, you will also manage social media for a second brand in the group.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, create and schedule content (photos, videos, graphics and copy) across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
- Coordinate remotely with site supervisors to gather photos, videos and updates from active job sites.
- Turn raw content into polished, on-brand posts showcasing projects, crews and company culture.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages and reviews professionally and promptly.
- Design graphics and edit short-form video using Canva.
- Track likes, shares, reach and engagement and provide monthly reports.
- Support recruitment marketing by promoting job vacancies and culture-focused content.
- Keep up with social media trends, especially TikTok and Instagram Reels, and suggest fresh content ideas.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style across channels.
- Once trained, manage social media for an additional brand using provided templates and brand guidelines.
Required profile
- 1-2 years of experience in social media, marketing, communications or a related field, or a background in architecture, graphic design, visual arts or another design discipline.
- Strong visual eye and layout sense; design graduates and career-changers are welcome.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Interest in social media trends, especially short-form video.
- Comfortable coordinating remotely with supervisors and team members.
- Reliable, organised and able to manage a content calendar independently.
- Bonus: interest in construction, civil works or related industries.
Required skills
- Canva for graphics and video editing.
- Ability to apply brand guidelines and templates consistently across multiple brands.
What we offer
- Full-time, fully remote position with on-the-job training and mentoring.
- Hands-on experience supporting a growing regional business.
- Opportunity to expand into managing a second brand's social presence as you progress.
- Ready-made templates and brand guidelines from day one.
- Potential to grow into broader marketing responsibilities over time.
