Social Media Manager – Freelance Remote

About the role

Satlas, a growth agency for Australian finance brokers, is looking for a hands‑on Freelance Social Media Manager to lead its own LinkedIn and Meta presence and to deliver the same service for its broker clients. The role is fully remote and combines strategy, content creation, video production and community management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the social media strategy for Satlas on LinkedIn and Meta.
• Plan, write, schedule and publish organic posts, including captions and reels.
• Film reels alongside the founder and Marketing Manager, edit raw footage and publish the final videos.
• Appear on‑camera as part of Satlas’s content team.
• Manage engagement, direct messages and community activity on all channels.
• Design and implement social strategies for client accounts, building content calendars and publishing schedules.
• Coach client founders on personal branding, content ideas, filming techniques and publishing discipline.
• Coordinate with the graphic designer for custom visuals and report monthly on reach, engagement and growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience running LinkedIn and Meta accounts, preferably for professional services or B2B brands.
• Strong copywriting ability, especially for short, engaging captions.
• Confidence in editing reels and willingness to appear on camera.
• Experience coaching founders or executives on personal brand development.
• Ability to adapt strategy across different client needs.
