Social Media Designer (Mid-Senior)

About the role

FBI Talent Co is recruiting mid-senior conceptual social designers, both freelance and full-time, to join creative teams that build social-first content across campaigns, platforms and formats. The role suits people who understand the pace, formats and visual language of social content.

Key responsibilities

• Create engaging social and digital content across a range of platforms
• Concept social campaigns and turn ideas into strong, social-first executions
• Art direct shoots and design static, animated and short-form video content
• Edit short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn
• Work across campaigns from initial concept to final delivery
• Use AI image and motion generation tools to develop and enhance creative
• Collaborate with creatives, content teams and other designers, and roll out content across formats and channels

Required profile

• Mid-senior level experience in social, content or digital art direction and design
• Strong understanding of social-first content
• Excellent design skills with a solid grounding in typography, layout and visual communication
• Confident editing short-form social video content
• Able to work quickly across multiple formats and deadlines
• Creative thinker who can go beyond executing a brief
• Full Australian work rights; available for hybrid or onsite work
