Small Animal Veterinarian

About the role

Gympie Veterinary Services, a practice with more than 50 years of service to the local community, is recruiting a full-time small animal veterinarian. It is a mixed practice of 13 veterinarians and a team of registered veterinary nurses, but the role centres on a dedicated small animal focus in consulting and general practice. Part-time candidates are also considered.

The practice is located in Gympie, a regional city that acts as a first point of contact for urgent and emergency presentations, giving exposure to emergency medicine and surgery without the demands of a dedicated emergency clinic. The practice has a recently renovated hospital, branch clinics in Tin Can Bay and Murgon, and a CT scanner due to be installed soon.
