Site Supervisor – Mining Services (Bowen Basin)

About the role

Based in Mackay, you will lead a dynamic Site Services team delivering tiling, maintenance and condition monitoring across multiple mine sites throughout the Bowen Basin. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will oversee daily operations, drive safety and performance standards, and work closely with internal teams and clients to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support a Site Services team delivering tiling, maintenance and condition monitoring across Bowen Basin mine sites.
• Oversee daily site operations and ensure compliance with safety and mine‑site regulations.
• Drive performance standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal teams and client representatives to meet service expectations.
• Travel to various mine sites across the Bowen Basin and wider Queensland as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site services, preferably with tiling and/or mechanical expertise.
• Strong commitment to safety and ability to meet mine‑site compliance requirements (including Coal Board Medical).
• Technical knowledge of coal preparation plants or heavy mechanical equipment.
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑management experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Strong organisational, problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
• Willingness to travel to multiple mine sites across Queensland.
• Relevant trade, engineering or technical qualifications.
