Site Supervisor / Foreman - $150M Commercial Project, Western Sydney

About the role

A busy Tier 2 builder is looking for an experienced Site Supervisor (Foreman) for a $150 million commercial project in Western Sydney. The builder is an industry leader, winning continuous work and specialising in projects up to $500 million across data centre, education, industrial, aged care, student accommodation and health sectors. As Site Supervisor you will work closely with the Site Manager to deliver projects safely, to quality and on time, managing day-to-day operations and coordinating subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager in coordinating and supervising all construction activities
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Oversee the excavation, structure and finishes phases of the project
• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to meet project objectives
• Provide leadership and guidance to site staff and mentor junior staff for future leadership roles
• Monitor project progress and report regularly to the Site Manager

Required profile

• Experience as a Foreman delivering projects worth more than $50 million
• Previous experience with Tier 1-2 construction companies
• Good proven tenure at previous employers
• Ability to lead a team and solve problems under pressure

Required skills

• Experience with finishes and facades on previous projects
• Proficiency in managing excavation and structure phases of construction
• Strong commitment to safety and excellent communication skills
