Site Supervisor – Defence Projects

About the role

Built is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead delivery on high‑profile defence projects in Western Sydney. You will coordinate site activities, ensure compliance with quality, safety and industrial‑relations standards, and oversee installation, testing and commissioning phases.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and manage daily site delivery to meet quality, time, OHS and industrial‑relations requirements.
• Supervise construction work during installation, inspection, testing and commissioning against drawings and specifications.
• Delegate tasks, mentor team members and foster a collaborative environment.
• Manage basic contract administration and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
• Identify and assess risks, resolve conflicts and drive continuous improvement on site.

Required profile

• NV1 Defence Clearance or baseline security clearance.
• Trade or tertiary qualification in Building/Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• 7‑10 years of experience in the building and construction industry in roles leading up to Site Supervisor.
• Proven ability to lead, delegate, negotiate and influence outcomes.
• Strong people‑management and client‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• Basic contracts management knowledge.
