Site Security Technician

About the role

Saab Australia is hiring a Site Security Technician to maintain and support its integrated security systems at the Clarence Correctional Facility near Grafton, NSW. The role covers preventative and corrective maintenance, first-line technical support and keeping Saab-deployed systems and Saab OneView software running reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule preventative and corrective maintenance with customers, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Perform routine maintenance across integrated security and IT systems, meeting contractual requirements.
• Manage maintenance notifications and schedule activities to minimise operational disruption.
• Provide first-line on-site, phone and on-call support for Saab-deployed systems and Saab OneView.
• Maintain accurate service records, test results and maintenance documentation.
• Identify, report and support the resolution of system faults and corrective maintenance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years' experience working with IP-based security systems.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting IT infrastructure, including networks, workstations, servers and storage systems.
• Hands-on experience configuring and installing Gallagher access control and intruder alarm systems.
• Must hold and retain an NSW Security Installer's Licence, a Driver's Licence and an NSW High Risk Work Licence for EWP 11m+.
• Australian citizen, able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance if required.
