Security Technician

About the role

Honeywell is hiring a Security Technician in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, to provide technical support, maintenance, fault resolution and small project works for Honeywell security systems at the Eastern Goldfields Regional Prison (EGRP). The role is hands-on and suits someone who enjoys problem solving, autonomy and working in a secure, high-performance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day service and maintenance of Honeywell and third-party security equipment
• Diagnose and repair faults on security head-end systems
• Configure software for EBI (security modules only), DVM, ECAS, CCTV and IP intercoms
• Provide technical support and customer service to onsite clients
• Maintain accurate site documentation and quality assurance records
• Take part in small to medium security installation projects, including subcontractor coordination
• Complete all work safely, professionally and within contract requirements
• Assist with audits, inspections and compliance reporting
• Support the after-hours callout roster when required
