Site Reliability / Environment Engineering Specialist

About the role

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) APAC is seeking a Site Reliability / Environment Engineering Specialist to help drive sustainable, resilient, and high‑performing technology environments. You will work across cloud and on‑premise platforms, ensuring that production and non‑production systems are stable, observable, and continuously improving.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance stability and resilience of non‑production and near‑production environments.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to provide early detection of issues.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis across application, infrastructure, network, and database layers.
• Identify and automate repetitive operational tasks, alerting, and remediation workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to advise on reliability best practices and drive maturity uplift.

Required profile

• Analytical and proactive mindset with a strong focus on system‑wide thinking.
• Excellent collaboration skills, able to act as a trusted advisor across technical teams.
• Demonstrated ability to work hands‑on in complex enterprise technology environments.

Required skills

• Site Reliability Engineering, Production Engineering or Environment Engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, application systems, and cloud/on‑prem environments.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, observability platforms, dashboards, and health‑metric tracking.
• Root‑cause analysis expertise across multiple technology layers.
• Automation and scripting skills for operational tooling and workflow improvement.
