Site Manager – Residential Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a portfolio of custom residential builds for Format Homes in metropolitan Adelaide. The role offers a realistic workload, allowing you to spend quality time on‑site and deliver high‑standard homes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise approximately 15 custom homes at any one time, ensuring quality and schedule adherence.
• Visit 3‑5 active sites each day, providing hands‑on oversight and problem‑solving.
• Coordinate with a trusted network of long‑standing subcontractors.
• Collaborate closely with the Construction Manager and two other Site Managers.
• Maintain clear communication with clients to ensure an outstanding experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising residential home construction.
• Ability to manage realistic workloads without excessive fire‑fighting.
• Strong commitment to quality craftsmanship and client satisfaction.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of residential construction processes and standards.
• Experience managing subcontractors and trade networks.
