Site Manager – Construction (18‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Maas Construct is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the day‑to‑day delivery of a major building construction project on an 18‑month fixed‑term basis. You will be responsible for coordinating trade packages, managing site logistics and ensuring safe, efficient, and quality‑compliant construction aligned with the project programme.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site operations, including site establishment, access, trade coordination and logistics planning.
• Control construction sequencing and monitor progress against the approved programme.
• Coordinate subcontractor works, interfaces, access and safety compliance across all active packages.
• Maintain site safety, housekeeping and quality standards in line with Maas Construct’s framework.
• Direct and manage site supervisors and leading hands across all trade packages.
• Work with the Engineering Lead on design queries, inspection hold points and technical matters.
• Liaise with the Project Manager on programme progress, subcontractor performance and escalated site issues.
• Oversee site inductions, toolbox talks and workforce coordination together with the HSE Manager.

Required profile

• 10+ years’ experience in site management within building construction, handling concurrent trade packages on major projects.
• Current Construction Induction Card (White Card) and relevant site‑management certifications.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, site logistics and WHS requirements.
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management or equivalent (desirable).
