Site Manager - Commercial Shading & Window Furnishings

About the role

A leading Australian company specialising in premium commercial shading and window furnishing solutions is looking for an experienced site manager to support the delivery and installation of commercial and architectural projects across Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The position is permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the team of installers and trades on track with daily schedules so work progresses to programme
• Visit sites to oversee installation works, monitor progress and check quality and specification
• Liaise with installers, builders, clients and Project Managers to resolve onsite issues, coordinate deliveries and manage site requirements
• Review plans, specifications and measure sheets so installers have the right information, materials and access
• Support Project Managers with site coordination, documentation, safety requirements and overall project delivery

Required profile

• Trade background, ideally in carpentry, joinery or construction, with strong practical, hands-on experience
• Previous on-the-tools or site-based experience with a practical understanding of installation, construction and building processes
• Strong understanding of site operations and the ability to oversee installers and monitor progress
• Hands-on approach, strong communication skills and interest in a supervisory or project-based role
• Valid Australian driver's licence and ability to travel across Brisbane and the Gold Coast
