Site Manager - Civil and Building Construction

An established, family-owned construction business is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee multiple sites across civil and building construction projects. This is a management-focused role for someone who enjoys leading teams and coordinating projects without needing to be hands-on with tools. Key responsibilities

• Oversee multiple active sites across civil and building construction projects.
• Manage and coordinate Site Supervisors, subcontractors and project teams.
• Monitor project programmes, progress, budgets and resource allocation.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Oversee site safety, quality assurance and compliance requirements.
• Identify and manage project risks, delays and operational challenges.
• Liaise with clients, Project Managers, engineers and other key stakeholders.
• Provide regular reporting on project performance and progress.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a supervisor position is essential.
• Strong background across both civil construction.
• Proven ability to manage multiple sites and coordinate teams.
• Experience overseeing Site Supervisors, subcontractors and project delivery.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills, with a proactive management style.

Required skills

• Understanding of construction programmes, budgets, safety and quality requirements.
• Ability to build strong relationships and drive accountability and consistent standards across sites.
