Site Manager – Brisbane

About the role

Contract Resources is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead its Brisbane operations. The role involves overseeing safe and efficient delivery of site activities for industrial and mechanical projects, working closely with clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage day‑to‑day site operations ensuring safety, efficiency and productivity.
• Provide leadership, coaching and development to supervisors and site personnel.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Drive operational excellence and identify opportunities to improve productivity.
• Manage labour, equipment, subcontractors and site resources to meet operational requirements.
• Oversee equipment utilisation, maintenance planning and compliance.
• Monitor site financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, revenue, costs and margins.
• Review estimates, variations and commercial documentation in line with company procedures.
• Identify operational risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
• Ensure work is delivered in accordance with HSE, quality, contractual and company requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years supervisory, operational or technical management experience in heavy industry, industrial services or contract service delivery.
• Proven ability to lead high‑performing teams in a dynamic environment.
• Strong client‑facing skills and ability to build lasting relationships.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving operational, financial and safety objectives.
