Site Engineer – Structure, Façade & Fit-Out

About the role

Versatile Group is looking for a Site Engineer to support the delivery of structural, façade and internal fit‑out works on major CBD and city‑fringe developments. You will work closely with Site Managers, Project Managers, subcontractors and consultants, ensuring quality outcomes from the core structure through to the final finishes.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery across structure, façade and internal fit‑out packages.
• Coordinate subcontractors across multiple packages to ensure proper sequencing and productivity.
• Assist with RFIs, drawing reviews, site documentation and reporting.
• Monitor progress against the program and support milestone tracking.
• Maintain QA processes, manage defects and assist with handovers.
• Support WHS compliance and site safety requirements.
• Work with the project team to resolve site issues efficiently.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer on building projects.
• Exposure to structural, façade and fit‑out packages.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and Australian Standards.
• Confident interpreting drawings and managing technical documentation.
• Organised, proactive and comfortable in a site‑based role.
• Excellent communication and collaborative mindset.
