Site Engineer - Marsden Park Data Centre

About the role

Built is hiring a Site Engineer for its Marsden Park data centre project in Sydney. You will support day-to-day delivery, working with project engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants to coordinate technical, quality and safety requirements so construction stays in line with drawings, specifications and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers on site, track progress and raise issues early
• Review technical drawings, spot discrepancies and support the resolution of RFIs and site queries
• Carry out site inspections, quality checks and project documentation
• Track materials, logistics and lead times, confirming deliveries meet project needs
• Work with the wider project team to keep safe work practices and activities on schedule

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
• About 3-5 years of experience in commercial construction, ideally on high-value or technically complex projects
• Sound understanding of construction sequencing, technical drawings and quality standards
• Proactive, solution-focused engineer with clear communication and strong organisation and time management

Required skills

• Project management systems such as Aconex, MS Project or Primavera
