Site Engineer – Early Career (18‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

We are looking for an early‑career Site Engineer to join Maas Construct on an 18‑month fixed‑term contract. The role provides technical support on major construction projects, working closely with the Engineering Lead to ensure design compliance and quality standards on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Engineering Lead with on‑site design coordination, including preparation and management of RFIs and design documents.
• Conduct site inspections, hold‑point notifications and quality checks for assigned trade packages.
• Maintain inspection and test plan records, NCR registers and technical compliance documentation.
• Review shop drawings and submittals, providing engineering comments for designated packages.
• Coordinate technical queries, method statements and design clarifications with subcontractors and trades.
• Support as‑built documentation and survey activities across assigned areas.
• Participate in engineering and design coordination meetings, track action items and ensure closure.
• Help compile technical documentation for project handover and O&M manuals.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in site engineering or construction project engineering.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Construction Management.
• Current White Card (Construction Induction Card).
• Technically curious with a desire to develop site engineering skills.
• Strong communication skills with trades, subcontractors and engineering teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit or equivalent drafting platforms.
