Site Engineer – Civil (FIFO)

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a motivated Site Engineer to join the Lumsden Point infrastructure project in Perth. The role is FIFO‑based and focuses on civil works such as earthworks, roads, drainage and pavements, supporting safe and sustainable delivery of the project.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of works on site to ensure safety, quality, and program targets are met.
• Coordinate daily site activities, including labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors.
• Assist with short‑term planning (3–6 week look‑ahead) and monitor progress, risks, and productivity.
• Review drawings and specifications, raise RFIs, and support construction methodologies.
• Contribute to safety, environmental, and quality compliance across site activities.
• Assist with procurement, cost tracking, and maintaining accurate site records.
• Participate in site meetings and drive continuous improvement across processes and performance.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 + years experience in civil construction (earthworks, roads, drainage or pavements).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities on site.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teams and subcontractors.
• Basic commercial awareness and commitment to safety, quality and environmental standards.
