Signage Installation Assistant (Fixed-Term Contract)

About the role

TOMRA's Marketing Team is looking for a Signage Assistant to work with its Signage Manager across Australia on the installation of external and internal signage at TOMRA recycling points, including Automated RVM Kiosks, Depots and Reverse Vending Centres. The role covers new signage production and installation, as well as ongoing management, repairs and replacements of signage already in the field. It involves regular regional travel across NSW and comes with a supplied vehicle.

This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend. A driving record check and pre-employment medical are performed.

Key responsibilities

• Install external and internal signage for new TOMRA return point installations, mainly across the NSW network, with the Marketing Activations team.
• Help develop and install directional signage to improve the visibility of existing and future return points.
• Repair and replace signage that does not match the agreed design, and manage signage inventory in a cost-efficient, logistically effective way.
• Support the creation and installation of branded and non-branded signage for CDS collection points in all states TOMRA operates in.
• Carry out daily visual site audits across the network to keep signage and communication consistent.

Required profile

• Previous experience in signage production and/or installation (not necessary but highly regarded).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Enjoys being outdoors and on the move, and is flexible and adaptable day to day.
• Willingness to travel interstate and across NSW.
• Good driving history (evidence required) and a passed pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol test.
• White card and working at heights not essential, as TOMRA can help obtain them.
