Shift Maintenance Fitter – 12‑Hour Roster

About the role

Join the maintenance team at a high‑performance bakery in Burleigh Heads, supporting some of Australia’s most loved food brands. The role operates on an equal‑time 12‑hour day/night roster and focuses on keeping highly automated production lines running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on bakery machinery, conveyors, ovens, provers and utilities.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in automated equipment, including pneumatics, motor/gearboxes, pumps and bearings.
• Support production teams to maximise uptime, reliability and safety.
• Identify and implement equipment improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Mechanical Fitter or trade qualification (mandatory).
• Experience in industrial, FMCG or manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong fault‑finding and mechanical diagnostics capability.
