Operations Manager – Concrete

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our concrete manufacturing operation in Brisbane. Reporting to the General Manager, Concrete and Aggregates, you will be responsible for safety, production, maintenance, quality, financial performance and team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement in performance, incident reduction and risk management.
• Champion safety leadership across all operations.
• Manage concrete operations to ensure reliable supply, quality and efficiency.
• Optimise production planning, logistics and asset utilisation to meet customer demand.
• Deliver budgeted revenue, margin and EBITDA targets while managing cost, capital expenditure and working capital.
• Identify growth opportunities, build relationships with clients, suppliers, regulators and industry partners.

Required profile

• Strong senior leadership experience in heavy industry, manufacturing or related sectors.
• Proven ability to build, develop and lead large operational teams.
• Sound understanding of asset management, maintenance strategies and plant reliability.
• Financial and commercial acumen with P&L accountability.
• Excellent stakeholder management and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
• Degree in Engineering, Business, Management or equivalent.
