Service Supervisor - Workshop & Field Service

About the role

CEA, an Australian-owned business representing world-class brands in construction, earthmoving, mining, material handling and agriculture, is looking for an experienced Service Supervisor to join its Perth team. Reporting to the Group Service Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the service department so that work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and support a team of workshop and field service technicians
• Allocate and coordinate work to maximise productivity and customer outcomes
• Provide technical guidance and support to technicians
• Manage customer communications about repairs, maintenance and machine downtime
• Monitor job progress, labour efficiency and service performance
• Coordinate warranty repairs and service administration processes
• Work with the Parts team to ensure timely availability of components
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across the branch

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Service Supervisor, Leading Hand or Service Management role
• Trade qualification in a mechanical field
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• A commitment to safety and continuous improvement
