Service Manager - OSHC, Ryde

About the role

Smalls Road OSH Club in Ryde is seeking an experienced educational leader to lead its large, established Outside School Hours Care service. The role combines strategic leadership with about 5.5 hours of in-ratio time, supported by 32.5 hours of dedicated out-of-ratio administration time.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a large team of Coordinators, Assistant Coordinators and Educators.
• Drive educational programs and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Act as Educational Leader and Nominated Supervisor while ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework.
• Build partnerships with children, families, schools and the wider community.
• Manage service operations including budgets, rosters, enrolments, compliance and workforce planning.
• Prepare the service for Assessment and Rating and maintain high-quality standards.
• Create a positive team culture where people feel valued and supported.

Required profile

• Previous leadership experience managing an OSHC or Early Childhood service.
• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Assessment and Rating.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Current Working with Children Check/Blue Card and current police check.
• Australian working rights.
