Service Manager - Heavy Equipment

About the role

Komatsu Australia is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead its Service Department at the Emerald branch. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will run the department efficiently, profitably and with a customer focus, leading a team of service professionals and driving business growth. Safety is central to the role, with responsibility for HSE compliance, Komatsu's Golden Rules, 5S and Continuous Improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of service professionals and develop people
• Drive business growth and profitability while delivering genuine product support to customers
• Monitor HSE compliance, Golden Rules, 5S and Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Strengthen customer relationships and meet service targets, financial performance and operational requirements

Required profile

• Experience in the heavy equipment maintenance industry
• Proven leadership experience leading, coaching and developing a service team
• Commercial and sales focus, able to identify opportunities to grow the Service Department
• Experience managing service operations, productivity, WIP, forecasting and financial performance
• Understanding of financial reports, including revenue, cost of sales and margin optimisation
• Relevant qualifications, certifications or study supporting the role
