Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor leads and coordinates all mechanical and electrical maintenance activities on site at the Wollert quarry, ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of plant and equipment. The role supports production teams by improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), delivering maintenance KPIs and driving continuous improvement, with full accountability for maintenance planning, execution, contractor management and asset reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise mechanical and electrical maintenance across the site
• Develop, coordinate and implement preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance programs
• Plan and schedule maintenance for upcoming shifts and shutdowns
• Manage maintenance budgets, resources and inventory
• Select and manage contractors so work is completed safely, on time and to standard
• Monitor performance against KPIs and drive OEE improvements
• Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective actions
• Work with production teams to minimise downtime
• Promote a safety culture aligned with Zero Harm objectives and take part in safety audits, inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports

Required profile

• Trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or a related discipline
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing, quarrying, construction materials, mining or heavy industry
• Experience managing contractors and maintenance service providers
• Strong commitment to workplace health, safety and environmental compliance
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
