Service Desk Technician

About the role

Babcock is hiring a Service Desk Technician for a full-time, permanent role based in the Adelaide CBD. You will be the first point of contact for IT support, helping users across Australia, New Zealand and the UK with technical assistance and issue resolution. The team supports a broad range of technologies including desktops, laptops, networks, telecommunications and collaboration tools.

The roster is 4 days on, 4 days off, with 10-hour shifts including weekends, rotating between 5:00am-3:00pm and 7:00am-5:00pm to cover multiple time zones.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship with a Defence security clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
• Prior experience in customer service or a similar IT-focused role.
• IT service management knowledge.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across IT environments.
• Customer-focused approach to resolving issues and improving IT service delivery.
