Service Desk Engineer (Level 2/3) – Sydney

About the role

IT Integrity is seeking a skilled Service Desk Engineer (Level 2/3) to join its Sydney team. You will provide technical support to end‑users, troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, and help maintain the overall health of the organisation’s IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end‑users via phone, email or in‑person.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software and network connectivity.
• Escalate complex problems to senior team members when required.
• Monitor and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Install, configure and maintain hardware and software assets.
• Create and maintain documentation for IT systems and processes.
• Participate in IT projects as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a Level 2/3 support or engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Experience with commercial IT technologies such as cloud services, networking, application support, PowerShell/Power Apps scripting and server configuration.
• Proven expertise with Microsoft platforms including Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, Office 365, Intune, Teams and hybrid Azure solutions.
• Solid background in Wintel environments, virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V) and enterprise storage/backup solutions.
• Familiarity with enterprise networking and hardware from vendors such as HPE, Dell/EMC, Cisco, Ruckus, Lenovo, Aruba, Fortinet and Sophos.
