Service Desk Analyst – IT Support

About the role

BESIX Watpac is looking for a Service Desk Analyst to join its Information Technology team at the Fortitude Valley head office. You will be the first point of contact for IT incidents and service requests, delivering prompt and professional support to improve business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Log all incoming incidents and service requests in the call logging system with full details.
• Respond to and resolve tickets within agreed Service Level Agreements.
• Provide first‑ and second‑level technical and desktop support, including installation, configuration and deployment of hardware and software.
• Train staff on hardware, software and remote‑access tools.
• Maintain the IT Asset Register, handling ordering, allocation, collection and retirement of IT equipment.

Required profile

• IT tertiary qualification and experience in a similar service desk role.
• Intermediate knowledge of desktop hardware and software, especially Microsoft products.
• Strong communication skills to deliver helpful, professional support.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and ability to work cohesively in a small, solution‑focused team.
