Service Coordinator - SAP Orders & Delivery

About the role

A large, well-established global organisation is looking for an experienced Service Coordinator for an initial 6-month assignment, advertised by Norwest Recruitment in Blacktown, Australia. The role sits across customer service, order management and coordination, managing the process from customer order through to delivery. It is described as varied, with potential for a longer-term opportunity depending on business needs and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Process and manage customer orders through SAP
• Coordinate orders from initial request through to delivery
• Manage larger and bulk orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Liaise with couriers and coordinate deliveries
• Communicate with customers about orders, timelines and updates
• Work closely with internal departments to keep orders moving
• Follow up on outstanding orders and resolve issues as they arise
• Maintain accurate information and complete high-volume data entry
• Support the wider team with general service and operational coordination

Required profile

• Previous experience in a busy coordination or order management environment
• Experience managing orders, deliveries and/or courier coordination
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and a proactive approach
• Experience in medical devices, pharmaceutical, healthcare or another regulated distribution environment is highly regarded but not essential

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of SAP
• At least 2 years of hands-on SAP experience, able to navigate the system without extensive training
