Service Consultant

About the role

The Service Consultant is the first point of contact for Avant members, delivering superior service across calls, emails and written correspondence. You will develop deep knowledge of Avant’s medical indemnity products, policies and procedures, building a foundation for long‑term career growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consistently superior service that exceeds member expectations across all channels.
• Maintain accurate, confidential member records.
• Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support team goals and foster a collaborative culture.
• Assist during peak renewal periods at the end of the calendar and financial years.

Required profile

• Experience in a service‑focused, customer‑first role.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong analytical skills and proactive approach to process improvement.
• Clear, confident communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of OH&S practices (preferred).
• Availability for full‑time hours (Monday‑Friday, 8am‑8pm AEST or 8am‑5pm AWST).
