Service Consultant – Customer Support

About the role

The Service Consultant provides consistently superior service to Avant members and customers across multiple channels, including phone, letters and email. This front‑line position offers a strong foundation in product, policy and procedures, supporting career growth within Avant.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver consistently superior service to clients, exceeding expectations.
• Maintain accurate and confidential member records.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance service efficiency.
• Contribute actively to departmental goals and overall success.
• Adhere to Occupational Health & Safety guidelines and promote a safe work environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a service‑oriented role with a strong track record of excellent customer service.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Strong analytical skills for process improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working rights in Australia (Permanent Resident or Citizen) and availability for full‑time (38 hours/week).

Required skills

• Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety regulations (preferred).
