SEO Specialist – Digital Marketing Agency

About the role

Digital Surfer is seeking an analytical and passionate SEO Specialist to join its growing Gold Coast team. You will develop and manage SEO strategies for a variety of service‑ and product‑based clients, ensuring continuous performance improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with clients on SEO strategy, deliver performance reporting and KPI analysis.
• Audit websites, provide technical recommendations and manage content optimisation.
• Project‑manage SEO tasks, including technical implementation and use of CMS platforms.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to clients both face‑to‑face and via phone.

Required profile

• Minimum 12‑18 months experience in an agency SEO role handling diverse clients.
• Strong analytical mindset, problem‑solving skills and up‑to‑date knowledge of search trends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Technical SEO implementation, audits and optimisation.
• Proficiency with Google Analytics, Bing Webmaster Tools and keyword research/tracking tools.
• Experience with WordPress and Shopify content management systems.
